Too often we underestimate the power of a touch, a smile, a kind word, a listening ear, an honest compliment, or the smallest act of caring, all of which have the potential to turn a life around.
~Leo Buscaglia, author and motivational speaker
Thank you Project Leaders for your commitment to lead the community in change and advancing the common good. This is your chance to develop a strong and vibrant community, become part of United Way's leadership team, gain and enhance skills in civics and community building, increase personal leadership capabilities, and assist United Way’s Volunteer Center in creating and implementing community service projects throughout the year.
As we’ve discussed these links will provide you with all of the documentation needed to complete and report on your community service projects. This reporting not only helps us to acknowledge the hard work done by all of our volunteers but it also helps us to obtain funding through matched grants, etc. Remember the United Way Volunteer Center is here to help you every step of the way.
Thank you for sharing your time, skills and talents with our community.
Sincerely,
Deb & Laura
