The United Way of Volusia-Flagler Counties, Inc., encourages and recognizes generous individuals' contributions. There are three levels of recognition:

• The Alexis de Tocqueville Society (annual gifts of $10,000 or more)

• Pillars Club ($1,000-$9,999)

• President's Club ($500-$999 or two hours' pay per month)

Leadership giving accounts for about 25% of all funds raised each year.
